What do we do, and why?
Amazing city offers experience and program services for needs of all sizes. We want to offer something for everyone, and that is why we have created a wide range of different services for different needs. Of course, there is also an innovative approach to work int the background, and new ideas arise almost daily. Of course with limited resources we can’t do everything, but we’re always happy to seize different opportunities. Originally we aimed our activity services towards companies and our main product was creating different workplace recreation days. Providing different active ways to work is our area of expertise.
For a bit more than a year now we’ve also set our sights on adventures for small groups, families, pairs and solo adventurers. Right now we’re excited to see how locals and tourists can see Tampere from new perspectives. Creating memories in environments that come to life in new ways!

For a bit more than a year now we’ve also set our sights on adventures for small groups, families, pairs and solo adventurers. Right now we’re excited to see how locals and tourists can see Tampere from new perspectives. Creating memories in environments that come to life in new ways!
Who are we?
The story of the company is told as a whole in its own page, but at the moment the company is run by two Närvänens, Hessu and Anni. The same surname is a telltale sign of something: In addition to being an employee, Anni is Hessu’s eldest child, and the company is slowly transforming from a private business to a family one. The everyday life at work is diverse, lively and fun – sure there are the occasional bad days, but no two days are the same, a cliche but true! In addition to Hessu and Anni there are a lot of subcontractors in our team, whom the customers can encounter in our services.
Hessu is the founder of the company and an entrepreneur who masterminds the big picture. He is on the background running the company’s everyday ventures, meeting clients on the gigs, creating new networks and taking care of existing ones. In addition to all of this, Hessu is a father and an adventurer at heart. He enjoys the countryside, the waters and the city. He loves to travel, recharges by moving and describes himself as a lifelong learner. Along with five degrees, he’s also studied experiental pedagogy and adventure education.
Hessu is also in an active official in Pirkanmaan Yrittäjät and Federation of Finnish Enterprises.
Anni is a travel industry professional, who participates in all of the company’s operations with Hessu. She creates and innovates services and marketing, meets and serves clients and continuously learns new things from entrepreneurship and the travel industry through surveying. Anni isn’t afraid to criticize or question, and she’s into development and innovation. In everyday life friends, exercise, the sun and good conversations keep a smile on Anni’s face, and, like Hessu, traveling and everyday adventures attract her. Anni has a tourist industry degree and has now continued her studies at Amazing City with an indenture.

Group activities with meaning!
In group activities our city adventures are made with our own concepts – indoors or outdoors. No matter the size of your group, we’ll always provide flexible and first-class service, for up to 300 peopel. Others love to compete, and others look for more laid-back activities – with us, everyone can participate equally. Our years from experience of groups of different sizes and preferences, modern tools and competent staff – We have everything required to quarantee a succesful recreation day or training event!
The group will become more tight-knit with their own style. If required, the activity can be very goal-oriented and modified with your desired themes! In our trainings you’ll get a combination of functionality and theory combined into a memorable big picture. We always create the company events according to the client. Others want a quick and easy ready-made package. and others look for an event customized according to their themes, content and desired location. In both cases our job is to fulfil our client’s needs, and even go above them!

Activities for day-to-day life and celebrations, home and away!
In programs made for tourists and locals the adventures can be experienced alone or with friends and family. They’re outdoor activities, so they’re safe as long as you remember safety distance precautions. On Roof Walk and Amazing Walks adventure you’ll have plenty to see and new information to learn, for tourists and locals. Memorability, activity and creating experiences are keywords in everything we do. When the client enjoys the activity, goes home with a smile on their face and makes fond memories, our job is succesful.
Activities for day-to-day life and celebrations, home and away!
In programs made for tourists and locals the adventures can be experienced alone or with friends and family. They’re outdoor activities, so they’re safe as long as you remember safety distance precautions. On Roof Walk and Amazing Walks adventure you’ll have plenty to see and new information to learn, for tourists and locals. Memorability, activity and creating experiences are keywords in everything we do. When the client enjoys the activity, goes home with a smile on their face and makes fond memories, our job is succesful.
