Mobile app-based Amazing Walks routes will lead you to interesting places, challenge your knowledge and teach you new things about the city. For tourists the routes are a new kind of way to get to know the city, being independent but still having guidance. For locals the routes have new information about their home town, and they’ll take you places in your area you perhaps haven’t seen yet!
Will you choose the gorgeous ridge views of Pyynikki, or the diverse centre of the old factory town? Or maybe you’ll test your inner agent skills in the Agent Test?

How do Amazing Walks work?
Amazing Walks work in an app that can be downloaded for Android and iOS devices. You can buy the route you want from the online store, and you’ll receive instructions and a launch code to your email.
The app has a map with checkpoints in it that will direct you, and each will have an activity or informational task for you. You’re free to walk the routes whenever, and the launch code is valid for a year after the purchase. It’s easy to implement your own pitstops along the way, because after you start there is no time limit. The checkpoints vanish from the map one by one after they’ve been completed. The guided routes don’t have visits to interiors.

The Pearls of Pyynikki
On The Pearls of Pyynikki route you’ll get to know the surrounding nature, explore the ridge’s terrain and admire the gorgeous views. On the way you’ll encounter quizzes and missions, that require you to explore your surroundings, but also test your knowledge, reasoning, or maybe your guesswork. The goal is to learn about nature and observe its diversity – of course admiring the sights along the way!
The length of the route is 3 to 4 kilometres and the duration is 2 to 3 hours, depending on your own pace and the routes you choose! You’re free to enjoy the environment at your own pace and take as much time as you need. The checkpoints can be traversed in the order of your choosing, but the initial plan is for it to be a circular route. The route is not unobstructed, but stairs and rougher terrains can be avoided.
This route is for everyone, and it’ll provide interesting sights for both adults and kids.
Please note, that the paths may be covered in ice and snow in the winter, so this route is recommended for non-freezing weather only!

You’re free to enjoy the city at your own pace and take as much time as you need. The Agent Test is a trial by fire for all those who wish to put their agent skills to the test! The route goes through Tampere city centre, and it’ll lead you to your own agent rank. Will you survive the bomb defusal, the interrogations, cracking a code and following the leads to their solutions?
The length of the route is 2,5 to 3 kilometres and the duration is approximately 2 hours. Though the job of an agent is usually a time-sensitive one, you’re free to experience this adventure at your own pace withour hurry, and enjoy what the city has to offer along the way. The route has a specific order, and you’ll be completing one task at a time.
The adventure will have a lot to do for agent-minded and ambitious players! This game doesn’t give a guided tour of the city, but the players will see the diverse parts of the city centre during it, as it acts as their playground. Some of the tasks are quite challenging, so for smaller children we recommend participating with an adult.

Amazing Walks for companies?
You can also buy a larger amount of Amazing Walks adventures at a time, for example as a gift to your staff, clients or networks. If a joint event or gathering is out of the question, an independent adventure at each person’s own pace is a good option to refresh with. A safe and pleasant way to experience a shared activity separately.
